Beneath the weeping willow tree
Many people would lie
And stare upon the sunsets
Let out a heavy sigh
I went out there too
And drew my last breath
For the willow is a peaceful place
For people to face their death
Today is Friday the 13th
Oh, drat
I strolled under a ladder
And saw a black cat
So it’s no wonder
That today
I spilled my coffee
On the way
To work I was late
And the printer broke
On my sandwich
I did choke
Now I lay
In a hospital bed
With a sprained ankle
Unluckiness I do dread

I looked around
At grey skies
Listened to the city roars
Contemplating their lies
Now I see
Fields great and wide
And listen to the wind’s lullabies
On the countryside
Under my gaze
I see more and more
With each day coming
I see a galore
Of diversity rich
And variety ridden
Landscapes, seas
And places that are hidden
My sightings are transfixed
On this planet of green and blue
I see wonders unique to my curious eyes
Can you see them too?
